I like to comment shortly and yes, I agree that the quality from Devialet phono is very good, because
from my own setup, it outperforms the LINN phono amps, even the expensive ones.
But Devialet's input stage has not been developed for moving coil, it is much more noisy than e.g. Linn.
The simple reason for the good sound but noisy MC might be simply, that there is no real phono amp, instead a digital correction without any disturbing and bad sounding capacitors in row with the signalpath. I used a step-up-transformer (SUT) from Lundahl company therefor to get rid of the noise.
Really good phono pre-amps will outperform Devialet, anyway, for sure.
