Hello.
I've been searching for JRiver users but haven't had any luck. I've been using JRiver Mediacenter for years on a Mac mini connected to a McIntosh C53 preamp. Now I've switched to a dual Expert 440 Pro and need to reconfigure JRiver.
I know the Devialet's DAC has a maximum resolution of 40 bits/384 kHz. Therefore, all higher-resolution PCM needs to be downscaled in JRiver.
I've read in some places that the Devialet supports native DS64, and in others that it doesn't, and that you actually have to convert the DSD64 to PCM using DoP in JRiver and then send it to the Devialet. What's the correct configuration? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
