Connecting a subwoofer to the 440 Pro dual

I haven't tried it yet (I probably will next Saturday), but I wanted to ask if you've connected the Master Companion as described in the manual:
If you wish to use your Companion device’s inputs, connect the two devices with a stereo mini-jack analog
cable from the in/out trigger connector of the Master to the RS232 connector of the Companion.

Did you make that connection?

No, I haven't tried that, and I am not using the companion as input device either. In my case, I don't connect companion with the master using the mini-jack cable, I only connect RCA-XLR.

In any case, if I output stereo on the companion, it works. If I output mono (subwoofer) on the companion, it doesn't work. Not that it bothers me, as I have a pair of spare RCA anyway....
