I have the master and companion connected via RCA only. I have a Mac Mini connected to the master via USB, an Eversolo DMP-A8 via RCA, and a subwoofer connected to the companion via RCA. After a few restarts and a restart by unplugging the master and companion and waiting 30 seconds, everything worked fine! I only noticed that I have to turn the volume up quite a bit—from -10 to -6—for normal listening. It might be related to the input level attenuation; I'll post a new message about it.
