How do you disable "Balance" and "Tone" in the speaker configuration section? I have in the "Speaker configuration: master" page section "Preout: ON" and neither "Balance applies to this output" nor "Tone applies to this output" ticked on. So, they should be disabled?
With the above mentioned setting still change in "General settings" --> "Balance and Tone Control" of Treble from 20 000 Hz to 15 000 Hz leads to change in SQ of treble.
