Well in some situations there is an argument for having a single chassis and the 250 is noticeably better than the 200, due to increased power but also better thermal management. And you can always get a second 250 for the ultimate Devialet.
But yes your point makes complete sense, that's probably why the 250 seems to have been dropped from a lot of Devialet's marketing materials.
At just over £4k for a Companion it's surely becoming more and more difficult to resist, I mean the performance hike is something else!
