Unfortunately it is not possible to connect a record player directly. You'd need a preamp and an A/D converter with optical digital audio output. Such as the Phono Box from Pro-Ject.

There are already other threads in this forum regarding record player and Phantom.

A Pono is nothing to do with record player or phono, it is a particular portable music player so unless it has an optical output, no, you can't.

A porno is however another matter altogether. Angel
