No other unit like an Aurender or so.

Expert piloted by an e.g. iDevice with e.g. Roon on it and that's it.

I realise that this is getting away from the original topic, but almost every thread seems to be ending up in the same place i.e. the AIR problem. Personally, I've given it a wide berth since the first jolt of static that sent me leaping for the remote. I'm finding another route.

My streaming doesn't involve a PC or Mac. My NAS runs JRiver and is hooked up via USB to my D via an Intona USB isolator.  It's controlled by my iPad, using Jremote.  OK, the NAS is a PCs of sorts but, "Expert piloted by an e.g. iDevice with e.g. Roon on it and that's it." Is exactly what I've got, isn't it? Or am I still missing your point? And I do apologise if I'm being thick here.
