So I mean this:
Distortions in the digital domain are irritating and easily heared by the human ear, while the ear is unsensitive to harmonic distortion which is typical produced by analoque equipment. So it is not only nice or nicer, but more something like irritating or more irritating. But good digital is always the cheapest way to go; not the best.
That said; the Devialet amplifiers are sensational. Curious when there will be no better amplifier at all.....? Close already. And this will happen with digital sound also. Picture: waiting for the Oppo 4k in december...... Sound: studios...?
