As Thumb5 notes, the fixed setting the the Sonos preferences. The Golden Ears are quite sensitive, and easy to drive, I think. If you're at -20 on the dial, I don't think that is unusual. It also varies a great deal for me from one recording to another. If I'm working in the same room, -50 db. if I'm sitting in the central chair (feet up, bottle of red and a straw), I can be at -7.5 db. Not for long, mind you. -15 to -12 db would be the usual 'loud' setting.
