Whilst my AQ Diamond RCA-AES has been shipped back to AQ to sort the issues, meanwhile I had to revert back to my DH Labs Silver Sonic D-110 RCA-AES cable to perform the LINK duties.
Playing 20 seconds of a track, I told myself "what a HUGE difference the AQ Diamond had brought in and now - the magic is gone !!"
Indeed - upper registers sound like white noise while low-level details & dynamic transients have all taken a back seat. The very deep bass is absent .... Opss !! I really need that AQ Diamond back ASAP !!
