After having bought a pair of Silver in 2015, I bought a pair of Gold in 2016, giving the Silver to my sons. I'm a daily music listener since. All the four are working well with not any issue. I regulary bring one of my two Gold in a secondary location (3 or 4 travels a year) with no problem. And most of all I still enjoy the revolution they bring in my music listening and I think about it every time I use them.
