I have a 1000 Pro connected to an MBL low ohm speaker, which known hard to drive speaker brand in the world.
I had never ever had issue with the Devialet. I don’t know what that high frequency issue he is described, the treble sounds extremely good in my system, I don’t hear any kind of lack of energy from HF part, instead sometimes I feel it has too much energy in HF, I sometimes drop the treble to -1db in Devialet setting.
I also play the MBL in extremely loud volume like to 5db+ and it never shut down itself ever.
But I indeed hear that precious Expert generation has problem with driving low ohm speakers. Devialet has improved it in the Pro series and PSU is a major upgrade in Pro.
We should email that test to Devialet and see how they response to it.
