Reactor 900 does not compare to the Phanton Silver.

I own both. The silver sound more open and go deeper, indeed they have more punch. But the reactor has more definition in the bass and better stereo imaging and depth. I can say the silver are better overall but not much better. The reactors are playing in our living room because they look a lot better, the silver look huge beside them. My wife is much happier with the reactors. But that's personal (the silver looked tiny  beside the kef reference they replaced).

My reactors dont get that hot at all while playing, in standby the silver give more heat.

Thanks for your feedback! It kind of convince me that Reactor 900 is the choice. Obvious to get against a 600 but a little more subtle against a Classic
