I have mine up quite high, about 2.2m above the ground, toed in about 30 degrees, not angled down. Imaging is great from the back of the room (about 5m) right up to nearly between them. Sound quality changes everywhere due to various nodes and resonances, but it's mostly very good and only a couple of special dud spots. I had them at more normal height: about 1m from ground but I like this better. Maybe because I am on my feet most of the time
