I expected the Phantoms to have very wide and even dispersion given how small the mid range and tweeters are along with the curved shape. However, I found them more beamy (not that they are super beamy) than other drivers their size it seems. They only look small but the midrange driver is more like the drivers on 6" drivers. And so it is just about as beamy. This mean, in my opinion, they need some toe in. Degrees of toe in depending of your room, how far your speaker is from back and side wall, how far you are from the speakers etc...
