Audirvana & devialet air

Hi 
I am using El Capitan with  Audirvana Plus. At first it didn't work but
I had this answer from Audirvana support (translated version):

"The problem is Devialet Air is incompatible with Direct Mode.
Hence you need to deactivate « Direct Mode » in the « Système Audio » settings page of Audirvana Plus." 
Since I did it it has been working fine.
