Let's see... you own a freshly minted pair of Bowers and Wilkins 802 D3 and a Devialet Le 400, a sweet combo in my view, which you happily paid for at the time. Yet shortly thereafter you have become soured by learning that something newer from Devialet is on the horizon, how sad.
At the end of the day it's always "Caveat Emptor" but at the start of the night it should be "Enjoy the Music".
