Bad feet
#1
Three isolation feet came off from my D 400 (2 from Master + 1 from Slave) when I removed the amplifiers from its shelf earlier today.

The heat from the transistors makes the rubber feet soft and gooey and that makes the feet stick to the surface underneath. To make things worse Devialet has put flimsy plastic clips inside the chassis for the feet to attach to. Once the feet get detached the clips comes loose and are now rattling around on the inside. Sad

The only way to fix this yourself is to remove the bottom plate but that would make the warranty invalid. I guess I now have to send both amps to France to get this fixed.

Has this happened to anyone else? If so, what did you do to solve things?

Not a happy camper today...
