I did not get the unit replaced. I just thought that all unit must have been finished similarly, so did not really bother with it. But I was not particular impressed. The finish on these units suffer from myriad of problems like this one:

Devialet makes fantastic sounding products. So I give them a pass on this, and just focus on the music. I have two D200's and both have swirl polishing marks on them. So I think it is more common to find that kind of finish on these units. You might not get far with a change of case, but they should change the PSU. I would not be surprised if your unit does not make any noise when you finally get it back.
