Static IP on Phantoms and Dialog

So the most common means of setting a static IP is by declaring one from the client device, in which case you'd be dependent on the Devialet software, which you may not have much luck with.

But as the device is receiving its address via DHCP, you router may support a feature allowing you to have its DHCP table assign particular IPs by device. For example, many Linksys routers have what they call 'DHCP Reservation', where an IP can be specified by MAC address. (ref: http://www.linksys.com/us/support-articl...Num=137180)

Many other brands support the same functionality, sometimes under a different name.
