Anyone found a way to hang phantom from ceiling?
#29
Close ups - showing the bottom bracket that the gecko plate slots into and then a bolt drops down through the attachment and into a threaded hole on the bottom so it can be tightened once in position although it doesn't really need it as the weight of the gecko means it doesn't move around freely anyway

Then a 2 inch square hollow metal tube to the ceiling with a plate and 2 holes far enough apart so as not to split the wood if going into a beam. I decided to put mine sideways therefore only one goes into a joist and it's plenty to be honest if you use a 10cm long 10mm coach screw

I just put another bolt through the plasterboard anyway, doesn't add strength but help it stop moving laterally I guess when swinging the phantoms around

Pics attached hope it helps
