Now that "report" is definitely an "infomercial".

From page 2: "With data switches requiring high-speed power supplies, negating the use of linear power devices due to their speed limitations,…"  Hmmm, tell that to any of us ETHERRegen users who've replaced the stock SMS with a linear power supplies. I'd say that data switches work just fine with a linear power supply.
