Open "availible devices" inside your Spotify app. You should see Spotify Connect devices. This should be always your best choice, because the music is rendered on the device itself.
Ethernet should be always your first chioce, but if your wifi is fine, it should be also okay. Bluetooth is the last choice, especially when you are in the apple universum.
