The work done by the computer in sending music files (whether FLAC or DSD) is so minimal that I cannot see how it can affect the sound

I might have mentioned before on another post, that I had an extended listening session with a few friends and we considered the USB and LAN connections to be on a par.   However, only USB can resolve DSD recordings

I have a 140 Pro, not a 120, and I don't know if it's input capabilities are different to the 120. I stream from an Antipodes server using Roon AIR.

I can say that I prefer an ethernet connection to USB and I'm streaming DSD64 files ripped from my SACDs to my 140 Pro over ethernet. Roon tells me that it's outputting DSD64 and the input resolution display on the 140 Pro tells me it's  receiving DSD64. I haven't tried DSD64 over USB because I gave up on USB and swapped to ethernet before I started ripping SACDs.

Unless there's something very different about the ethernet input on the 130/140 compared to the 120 you should be able to stream at least DSD64 through the ethernet connection.
Roon Nucleus+, Devilalet Expert 140 Pro CI, Focal Sopra 2, PS Audio P12, Keces P8 LPS, Uptone Audio EtherREGEN with optical fibre link to my router, Shunyata Alpha NR and Sigma NR power cables, Shunyata Sigma ethernet cables, Shunyata Alpha V2 speaker cables, Grand Prix Audio Monaco rack, RealTRAPS acoustic treatment.
