Hi all, thanks for the replies.

That does seem rather excessive for a device on standby! I think I will be shutting mine down when not in use - is it too much to hope for a firmware update to help with this or would that not be possible?

On the Devialet site it seems to imply that you should always shut the device down by holding the power button for 7 seconds but on this forum others seem to just turn it off at the mains either manually or with a wifi/bluetooth switch and haven't had any problems? Is there any reason I shouldn't just turn off at the mains when not in use?

Is the Reactor model the same?
