Stereophile reviews 140 Pro
#3
About the test, I can add that the reviewer has been impressed by its deep bass at the same level of his reference system (Mytek Brooklyng Bridge + Pass Labs XP-22 preamp + Pass Labs XA60.8 Monoblocks) that almost quadruples the price . Of course, that system sounds to him notoriously darker, richer and with more body. Hopefully with that price difference ...

With the Devialet 140 emphasizes the excellent sound image, wide and deep, dynamic and liquidity of sound. In the top tier of amplifiers heĀ“ve heard. About SAM, impressed by its effect and possible regulation (Revel Salon 2 speakers that Devialet 140 drives easily).

As for technical measurements, they have detected a greater background noise than that measured in the Devialet D-Premier, especially in the analog inputs.

In conclusion, excellent versatile amplifier for the price.

By the way, he uses Roon for testing and doesn't report any cuts...
