Sleeper cables?

You will probably be stuck with an adaptor cable. I'm not a huge cable believer simply because I understand how little there is that can actually go wrong with the signal itself through a reasonably well designed cable. So in my eyes, any cable of any configuration of any material will sound very similar to any other cable. But MIT puts little boxes in their cables and they're very hush hush about what is actually inside them. I don't know what they do but I know what the outcome is; a cleaner, therefore more open sound. Since I believe the difference is in the boxes, I wouldn't be too fussed to put an adaptor cable in front at all. I'd say have a go and you wouldn't be disappointed.

According to my audio guy they’re out of business!

If they were I would know. I do a bit of work for the guy I got mine from and he's the Australian importer. I spoke with him about MIT cables about a week ago and he would have mentioned it if they were out of business. A few months ago he told me they were about to come out with a new range.

Maybe give MIT a call and ask them where the closest dealer is.

MIT as a company is fine all I know. It is just that the SL-Matrix series are no longer available from 2020 on as far as I understand it from their website. The Dutch importer still shows these products on his website, so what the exact status is, is the question.
