This is true, but in an ideal world... Just check the forum of any streaming software (e.g. Roon), and you'll find a lot of users complaining about sound interruptions or network performance issues.
Audio streaming does not require high bandwidth, but it does require sustained / constant bandwidth over time, and this is where many problems arise, for many reasons.
