MiniDSP, the UMIK-1 manufacturer's, have recently updated their application notes for
1) Setting up UMIKs with REW
2) Taking measurements and creating filters
Notably, there are specific instructions for the MiniDSP EQ units. Nevertheless, most of the guidelines are generic.
