At last, Dialog (aka Arch) and Remote have grown up!
#1
Amidst all the hype of the Phantom I, the Dialog II aka Arch was also announced, adding analog inputs, phone stage, digital coax, minus optical and the heat of Dialog I.

Together with the Remote II, which was made quietly available a few months ago, Devialet has finally caught up with the competition.

Welcome as they are, I wonder why it has taken 5 years for Devialet to add such obvious functionality. Has Devialet gutted their engineering department so much that they are unable to do relatively simple things?  We are not talking about bleeding edge technology that Devialet invented.  The phone stage was taken from the Expert Pro range, analog inputs and digital coax are well known.  How hard was it to add beyond volume control and pause of Remote I?  Not to mention the buggy software releases...

(Apologies to any Devialet engineers reading this; it is not your fault that there are so few of you and most of the senior experienced ones have left).
