Looking to get some thoughts from the internet braintrust.
Currently have an Expert Pro 140, driving a set of Magico A3s.
I'm relatively happy with it, but it does seem to run out of steam as the volumes rise so am considering an upgrade. For space reasons, I need to stick with a Devialet amp, so I'm looking at three options, and would be curious to hear from others who might have gone through a similar upgrade themselves.
Option 1: Buy a second 140 and go dual mono (210).
Options 2: Replace 140 with a 220.
Options 3: Wait for a used 440 to come to market.
I've done reading about the difference dual mono can bring to a system, so I understand what adding a second 140 might bring to the system.
Request:
Appreciate your input!

- I'd be curious to hear if anyone has gone from a 140->220 and if they felt that particular upgrade was worth it.
- Curious if any of those who purchased a 440 considered the 210 route and may have done a back-to-back test. There are currently 140s for sale which I could get that now, for a lot less money. Otherwise would need to wait for a used 440 to come for sale.
