Ooh, that's a bit sneaky if it applies, as I presume it does(?), to existing agreements. Were the replacement units new or refurbs? If the latter then I guess the difference is really moot.
As far as I am aware, the replacement is / would have been a brand new one. It's a good question as it' not like you get a policy document when you take out Devialet Care, there are just general T&C on their website.
