Devialet driving a Tannoy Kensington speaker
#8
I realise my reply is 18 months late but I use the Devialet 400 with Tannoy Kensington Gold Reference speakers.

Cables are Crystal Microdiamond and source is the Electrocompaniet ECM-2 network player. Everything is powered by a PS Audio P-5 power regenerator.

I run the SAM at 100% and have raised the Treble Energy setting on the speakers by one step while keeping the Treble Rolloff on the Level position.

The sound is detailed, 3-dimensional and powerful. Not as subtle as the Spendor SP100/R2 that I was using before but richer in the bass and highs. Very suited to rock, blues and jazz fusion. Perhaps not as suited to vocals.

Hope this helps (better late than never?)
