Deep Purple - Made in Japan, is there a better live album than this. My uncle bought this for me when I was about 11 years old.

I know he wasn't in the band when Made In Japan was made but Don Airey lives just up the road from us and plays occasional gigs in our local pub.  Terrific live music Smile

Machine Head is one of my 7 year old son's favourite albums and I like it too. Listening in the car on the school run certainly wakes you up in the morning.

Not an Album, a radio 3 FM broadcast of Puccini's Suor Angelica, and not Devialet either as it happens Smile
Lynx Theta tuner, Job preamp Job 225 power amp into Goldmund Epilog 1&2
Absolutely fabulous.

I have always felt that the best sound quality I get at home is from Radio 3 broadcasts which implies the most important aspect is microphone choice and positioning since the distribution to the transmitters is 32kHz digital...
