I think I was less than clear. I meant on your case as the DDRC is limited to 24/96 you choose to have Roon ( if you were using it ) down sample any 24/192 content to 24/96 so it could be processed by your DDRC.

If you were going straight from Roon to the Deviled you would not need to downsample the 24/293 material. In my case I go from Mac Mini running Roon straight to Devialet do any 24/96 or 24/192 content is passed straight through with no down sampling.

My example was poor, what I intended to say is the only thing I have Roon down sample are the few files I have in DSD 128 format, as Roon can only handle DSD 64 format. As you have no DSD content this is something you need not worry about.
