Apologies if I'm making some wrong assumption here but we are hearing this issue on both PC and Mac right? Is the behaviour roughly similar from both? If so this might rule out OS-specific settings for power saving, antivirus or screensaver etc.
I've still yet to hear white noise but I do get silent dropouts from my Windows 7 (64 bit) PC with JRMC 19, seemingly random but usually lasting about 30 seconds or so and then it continues playing. Nothing in the Windows logs to coincide with it. Library is on a mapped drive from my Qnap NAS (which could be the culprit). It's very possible my problem isn't the same as the one in this thread.
