Antoine, I appreciate your taking the time to dig through your e-mail archive! It's interesting to see the thought process you went through.
It seems to me that asking Devialet to implement a custom delay in a one-off, per-customer configuration is unlikely to be an option these days, given their much larger customer base. Also it would probably take a fair bit of experiment for any one customer to determine the right delay, which would mean a lot of to-ing and fro-ing with Devialet. But maybe there could be a user-configurable delay option -- that should be more convenient all round. You'd think that wouldn't be too hard to implement (he said, rashly) although maybe there's a memory limitation. All just speculation until someone requests it, so maybe I should do just that and see what the response is.
