What is the benefit of this? I know there is more about this on the net and on this forum. Devialet also told me that there is no mening to use a 75/110 ohm transformer on the XLR input when I was looking for a new cable so I went for a Cabledyne RCA to XLR cable.
Matching the characteristic impedence between the connectors and the cable on both the output and (especially) the input ends, is supposed to reduce signal reflections and jitter.
