As far as I know you can do this with a UPnP solution (and there are loads of UPnP iPad controllers out there) or... J River using their iPad app (which I hear is very good but haven't yet tried) or... the d1 server (totaldac) which uses the MPaD interface for iPad.
There is no dedicated app for Audirvana + although if it is used with iTunes then I'm guessing that you can use Remote on an iPad to control your music.

I should have said that I want to control all my music from a single app on the iPad (except my turntable...). I suppose that Lightning DS will be able to do this (once the early adopters have debugged it) and I know that this is already possible with the NAD and understand the s/w is pretty stable.
Anyway let's hope that your comparison shows that the streamers can match or better the sound of A+ and Jriver then the issue of having to run multiple control apps and/or clunky user interfaces will go away.
