How funny that you should mention this. I was in Norfolk visiting my folks. My father is really proud of his Sonos system and I can see why... it just works perfectly! I even downloaded the Sonos app to my iPhone and within seconds had complete control over his system. Sonos works like a dream, as a controller it's freaking amazing.
If only the audiophile boys could catch up and build some decent software... (I say this as a long time UPnP user who has had his fair share of controller nightmares).
I agree though, Sonos sounds awful! I think I prefer the sound from my tiny little Bose speaker!
