The South African I believe that is being referred to is Rodney_Gold and he uses a single DPremier. He listens loud and the DP has no problems
Me I use 800 on my G1s (i am South African to) but that's because I got an unbelievable deal. I did a home audition with a single DP and no problem
Then there is another South African with G3's and a 120 - no problem.
Vivids are not pigs to drive and coupled with the minimal output impedance of Devialet's which makes them super drives of speakers - I think a single 200 would be more than sufficient. Then there is the option to upgrade to a 400 down the line
Vivid and Devialet are a superb combination. Enjoy.
