I share your reservations. This is why i have emailed them again for clarification. I think he said the bigger bass trap panels helped with all frequency levels. I may be simplifying it too much as I am only looking for help with the high frequencies, i thought diffusion would be the key.
To be honest though I have very little knowledge in this area and I have to trust them in their recommendation. Will be interesting to see what they come back with
