It is not the quantity of treble, but the QUALITY of the treble. I do think Phantoms are very good but its resolution and transient speeds can be bettered by significantly lower priced speakers. Of course, this is just a small part of the equation beause speakers do not have amps and dacs built in, AND speakers the size of Phantoms cannot extend as low. But if are talking about trebles alone, yes it can be bettered. I've mentioned to some of the Devialet personnel to consider upgrading the tweeter to beryllium tweeters.
