Seems as if D-Premier owners are going to be stitched up for the D1000 pro upgrade. I was quoted AUD$6k (£3.5K) for a single upgrade from D-Premier to D250, and that was only 5 months ago Confused

Either that or the new Devialet Distributor here in Oz is really taking the *%@^()&$%

Can't wait to find out how much the upgrades are costing back in the UK, and other countries to find out if it's Devialet hitting hard old D-Premier owners, or if it's the Oz distributor taking the ..........

So it may actually be cheaper to upgrade the D-Prems to 800s (assuming the option is still available which I'm guessing it isn't?)  and then upgrade to 1000Pro.  Logical!

I'm still pondering selling my D200 to buy a used D120 to upgrade to the new upgraded model. That's if D200 values don't fall to match D120 overnight.

Nah, that just means I will have to be happy with my pair of D-Premiers as there is no way I'm going to pay double to upgrade them to a 1000 Pro, against what I was quoted for previous upgrade to a D800 (my previous quote was end of Jan '16, so not that long ago).

Ah well, a bit deflated now Sad , as was hoping to scrape the money together for the 1000 Pro, but no way am I going to do that for AUD$22K (£13K).
I wonder why you would need a dealer for the upgrade. Isn't this a deal with Devialet itself? Pay the upgrade price in Euros, send it from your home to France and get it back to your place when it's done. Or is there a reason you need the service of a dealer?
