As some of you know already I have ordered one of these.
The idea is to compare it against my current reference, the Paul Pang audiophile switch with MCRU LPS. The Paul Pang cost considerably less I should add, although probably about the same as the AQVox once one includes the power supply.
First impressions are already a bit meh TBH. I've had some correspondence with them regarding their "15 quid" D-Link wall wart asking if there are other options. There response is that a decent LPS will degrade the sound quality of this unit, confirmed by the review below (use Google Translate pls):

I wanted to know if there were other options since the power supply only currently ships in Schuko version and I am wired with NEMA sockets here, although I do have a few UK ones on dedicated spurs too. I also expressed some of my reservations considering the use of the wall wart.
Their response was:
"Some Info:
We have been designing electronics and powersupplies for 30 years now.
http://www.aqvox.com/profil.html
Some of the worlds best microphone manufacturers use our micamp for development.
http://www.aqvox.com/referenz.html
We introduced the first audiophile fully balanced, dual-DAC, segregated Class-A output USB-DAC and
in 2006 worlds first audio-optimized USB-cables."
They have said that they have ordered adapters like these ones:

As you can imagine this doesn't play too well with my power OCD.
Any way I am going into this with an open mind and will report back my impressions when the unit arrives.
