Hum starting between -85 to -80db
#14
@baddog thanks for your feedback on this and reporting your observations with the level meter bars. I have had my VPI prime in my system prior to the Devialet's, however, the hiss using the Micro Benz turned me off listening to Vinyl so hadn't been using my TT much. I'm getting the same result using either the Master or Companion, so I would be surprised that both phono inputs/boards have a fault. My 440 Pro's are due for the CI board upgrade, I will lodge a support ticket with Devialet and have them check the Phono stage when the CI board is getting installed. My friend has made a ground cable with good quality luggs to fit the Devialet's ground post and will be back to do further tests, it was really awkward to get a good connection using bare wire to the ground post due to its location under the Phono inputs.
