Not impressed so far...

Why on Earth Devialet still haven't provided any user-adjustable DSP like Room Correction with these things is beyond me.

In any case if that's your only position, and I'm guessing you don't want ugly bass traps and diffusers plastered around your lounge (or to tear the room down and rebuild it) , the only way to really deal with it is to measure it, and adjust with DSP. In fact, I wholeheartedly recommend Digital Room Correction anyway unless speakers are used in a dedicated, treated room, or you just happen to get lucky with good acoustics - neither if which seem the case here. The trouble you have is getting it in your chain.

I use a 250 not Phantom, but I've just made new filters with new measurements for my room, and adjusted the speaker positions very slightly. I'm talking a tiny adjustment to make them about a degree tilted back, and a cm move. The two things combined transform the system. It's more profound than any other box of tricks I've ever bought in the past to try and better the sound.

You're probably not hearing a fraction of what they can do. I'd strongly recommend getting a mic and having a go - it's cheap related be to your Phantoms. Just needs a bit of time invested.
