I use USB direct from the Melco and it's really good.
An alternative would be to connect the Melco direct to the Devialet, but use a device - MacBook, PC, whatever elsewhere on the network to run AIR and send 'through' the Melco (it acts as a network bridge to the Devialet). Unfortunately the Melco can't run AIR itself as there's no port of the software to it.

If you want to run Minimserver I'd suggest posting there or contacting simoncn (developer of Minimserver & owner of the forum) via PM. I'm using Minimserver on mine and it's wonderful after Twonky (which I'm not a big fan of - no Album Artist indexing, and it rebuilds the database on power-up). Minimserver isn't fully supported yet and is beta on the Melco. The installation is a little more fiddly than it should be (but still pretty easy, and well-documented) and with luck it'll be incorporated into a future firmware on the Melco.
