My fear is that those with new Pros with the CI board already fitted, or OdA upgraders, are going to lose functionality over non CI-equipped units for a while. It seems odd Devialet are accepting upgrades (CI installations) now, when it doesn't appear to all be functioning satisfactorily yet.

My concern exactly.   I doubt I'm the only one that fears the worst in sending in my system for the CI board before they have a fully function and successfully tested software platform.   Hopefully, it would continue to work as fully functional as it currently does, but nothing in Quentin's letter really helped my confidence in that.
